Welcome to Men For Christ Ministry (MFC)

MEN FOR CHRIST

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.” Psalm 133:1–3

 Introduction:

We thank and praise Our Lord Almighty for His abundant blessings showered on all of us as a church and for His divine guidance in carrying out all the activities planned & undertaken by MFC to glorify His name throughout the year 2008. We pray and continue to trust in Him that the New Year 2009 will be another great year of spiritual growth, service, and fellowship.

 Mission Support:

By God’s Grace, we have been able to support Nine missionaries financially, belonging to Blessings Youth Mission (4) , Friends Missionary Prayer Band (1), Indian Missionary Society (1) and Gospel Missionary Echoing Society (3) working in different mission fields spread all over India.

 Regular Group Activities:

MFC members meet on every Sunday morning after the morning service for Bible study and prayer in the Multipurpose Room from 10:45 - 12:00 PM. In 2008, The Module study on “King Saul, King David and King Solomon – Chapter were completed. This weekly meeting has been a source of encouragement for all the members enabling us to enjoy learning and growing in the knowledge of God through His word, strengthening our Christian fellowship.

 Indian Foreign Worker Fellowship:

Many MFC members are also actively involved in the Indian Foreign Workers Fellowship every Sunday evening. The report for this outreach programme will be submitted separately.

 Monthly MFC Prayer Hour:

Considering the need for spending more time with the Lord, praying and interceding for His guidance and presence amongst us, a Monthly MFC prayer Hour was started from April2005. During these prayer sessions, we pray for the missionaries, their families and the Orphan Children supported by us and for the ministry among Indian Foreign workers. By God’s grace, about 10 to 15 members have been participating every month. We have tasted His goodness and have been blessed through these sessions.

Fasting Prayer:

“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting”. Daniel 9:3.

God calls each of us into a warm and active prayer life. With a burden to seek the Lord with fasting, we had one fasting prayer sessions in 23rd August 2008 in which our members prayed together in East Asia Chapel. About 17 members were participated in this session.

 Fathers Day Celebration:

Father’s day is celebrated in the church on June 12. This event had prayer, praise, message, quiz and team games.  The fellowship lunch was provided by Women For Christ about 55 members were participated in this celebration
