Welcome to Sunday School Ministry

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” (Luke 18:15-17)

Sunday school ministry is an active ministry of our church in nurturing the children with our Lord's words. Every month children are encouraged to learn memory verses, tested and were given small tokens.

 Easter Celebration:

Redemption coupons were issued to children to memorize verses.  Children redeemed their prizes by reciting the verses enthusiastically to their teachers.

 Vocation Bible School (VBS):

It is held every year with last year theme being “Champions for Christ”.  The theme verse was “Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2. Three sessions were conducted on the following themes:

  • run with love (I Cor 13), run with perseverance (Heb 12) and run with patience (Heb 11 &12)

 Thanksgiving Sunday:

We organized a mini food fair and by the grace of God. We thank every one who supported us.  We thank God for the zeal and thirst that our children had in obeying our Lord’s Great Commission.

 Children’s Day/Mission Tin Collection:

On Children’s day the children brought their contributions for Missions and offered at the altar.

Other activities:

P5 & P6 children were rostered to read the bible on the 1st week of the month. During family Sundays, two children recited memory verses in front of the congregation. Sunday School Annual Day is conducted every year. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to display talents for the glory of God and to grow in His word.

We thank and appreciate everyone who supported us with their prayers.  Our special thanks to the Pastoral team for their support and guidance.  We request your prayers and support.  We once again thank our Almighty God for His wonderful works.  Blessed be the Lord forevermore!
