 Notice is hereby given that the 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parish of Christ Church will be held by ZOOM Webinar on   Saturday, 28 May 2022 at 5:00 pm (SGT). 

 IMPORTANT NOTES:
 Under the relevant amended Order under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020 (Alternative Arrangements for Meetings for   Charities, Co-operative Societies, and Mutual Benefit Organisations) Order 2020 S327/2020 (“the Order”) and The Amended Order –   S827/2020, please note that the following rules govern the forthcoming AGM of the Parish of Christ Church, which will be conducted   virtually. The order is in force until further notice, ie. until it is revoked or amended by the Government. 

Notice is hereby given that the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parish of Christ Church will be held on 12 May 2024, Sunday 1:30 pm at the Christ Church Sanctuary.

The Electoral Roll (ER) determines those who are eligible to either vote or be elected at the AGM onto the Parochial Church Council (PCC). Baptised members, who are at least 17 years of age, confirmed in the Anglican Church, and regularly attending Service and partaking Holy Communion, will be on the Electoral Roll. ER will be displayed on the Notice Board in the canteen for verification. If you are eligible and your name is not in the ER, please contact the Church Office Secretary during office hours at 62992544 for assistance.

The quorum for the AGM may be formed only by members on the Electoral Roll who are physically present at the AGM on 12 May 2024. Electoral members who enter the Sanctuary after 1:45pm will be recorded as OBSERVERS. Observers cannot vote.

Annual Report Members may download the annual report from 21st April 2024 (Sunday), 1pm onwards by clicking here. Financial Statements 2023 and Budget 2024 Electoral members may request to receive soft copies via email from 21st April 2024 (Sunday), by completing the form here. We are going paperless as much as possible. If you require a Hard Copy of the AGM Minutes 2023, Financial Statements 2023 and Budget 2024, you may request for it from the Church Office Secretary.

Electoral Roll members shall participate in the nomination and election of the following positions: People’s Warden Honorary Secretary Honorary Assistant Secretary Honorary Treasurer Honorary Assistant Treasurer Four (4) Parochial Church Council Members Candidates for election to membership of the PCC shall be on the Electoral Roll of the Parish and must be nominated in writing from one member and seconded by another. Proposers and Seconders are also required to be members on the Parish Electoral Roll. Nomination forms can be obtained from Church Office Secretary and to be submitted strictly only to Vicar on or before closing date. Nomination can be submitted online by clicking the form here, submission will be viewed only by Vicar. Opening date for both Physical & Online Nominations: 28 April 2024, 11:00am Closing date for both Physical & Online Nominations: 5 May 2024, 7:00pm

At the AGM on 12 May 2024, leadership will respond to questions that were submitted via email to AGMQuestions@christchurch.org.sg by 5 May 2024, 7pm. During the AGM, members may raise related questions for the questions that were already submitted by 5 May 2024, 7pm. Leadership will attempt to provide responses either during the meeting or after the meeting.

A written notice of any motion for discussion at the AGM shall be submitted to the Honorary Secretary not later than 07 days before the AGM date. All written notices shall be sent to AGMQuestions@christchurch.org.sg by 5 May 2024, 7pm.

· Electoral Roll Members will vote if there is more than one nomination for any of the positions to be elected. · Electoral Roll Members will cast their vote by physical ballot papers.

Electoral members participating in the AGM are requested to: - - be punctual for the AGM - sign on the recording sheet from 12:30pm to 1:45pm. Electoral members who enter the Sanctuary after 1:45pm will be recorded as OBSERVERS. Members who are not in the Electoral Roll may attend the AGM as OBSERVERS. Note: Observers cannot vote.
