Notice is hereby given that the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parish of Christ Church will be held on 26 April 2026, Sunday 1:30 pm at the Christ Church Sanctuary.

Electoral Roll

The Electoral Roll (ER) determines those who are eligible to either vote or be elected at the AGM onto the Parochial Church Council (PCC). Baptised members, who are at least 17 years of age, confirmed in the Anglican Church, and regularly attending Service and partaking Holy Communion, will be on the Electoral Roll.

ER will be displayed on the Notice Board in the canteen for verification.

If you are eligible and your name is not in the ER, please contact the Church Office Secretary during office hours at 62992544 for  assistance.

Attendance

The quorum for the AGM may be formed only by members on the Electoral Roll who are physically present at the AGM on 26 April 2026. Electoral members who enter the Sanctuary after 1:45pm will be recorded as OBSERVERS.

Observers cannot vote.

Financial Statements 2025 and Budget 2026
Electoral members may request to receive soft copies via email from 8 Apr 2026 (Wednesday), 7pm onwards by completing the form here.(https://form.jotform.com/ParishOfChristChurch/AGMReports2026)

We are going paperless as much as possible. If you require a Hard Copy of the AGM Minutes 2025, Financial Statements 2025 and Budget 2026, you may request for it from the Church Office Secretary.

Nominations

Electoral Roll members shall participate in the nomination and election of the following positions:

• People’s Warden
 • Honorary Secretary
 • Honorary Assistant Secretary
 • Honorary Treasurer
 • Honorary Assistant Treasurer
 • Four (4) Parochial Church Council Members
 • Four (4) Synod Representatives

Candidates for election to membership of the PCC shall be on the Electoral Roll of the Parish and must be nominated in writing from one member and seconded by another.

Proposers and Seconders are also required to be members on the Parish Electoral Roll.

Nomination forms can be obtained from Church Office Secretary and to be submitted strictly only to Vicar on or before closing date.

Questions & Answers

At the AGM on 26 April 2026, leadership will respond to questions that were submitted via email to AGMQuestions@christchurch.org.sg (mailto:AGMQuestions@christchurch.org.sg)by  19 April 2026, 7pm.

During the AGM, members may raise related questions for the questions that were already submitted by 19 April 2026, 7pm. Leadership will attempt to provide responses either during the meeting or after the meeting.

Question 7

Resolutions/Any Other Business

A written notice of any motion for discussion at the AGM shall be submitted to the Honorary Secretary not later than 07 days before the AGM date. All written notices shall be sent to AGMQuestions@christchurch.org.sg (mailto:AGMQuestions@christchurch.org.sg)by 19 April 2026, 7pm.

Voting

· Electoral Roll Members will vote if there is more than one nomination for any of the positions to be elected. 
· Electoral Roll Members will cast their vote by physical ballot papers.

AGM Day

Electoral members participating in the AGM are requested to: -
     -  be punctual for the AGM
     -  sign on the recording sheet from 12:30pm to 1:45pm.

Electoral members who enter the Sanctuary after 1:45pm will be recorded as OBSERVERS.

Members who are not in the Electoral Roll may attend the AGM as OBSERVERS.

Note: Observers cannot vote.
